Data residency matters more than compliance logos

Xynora Security

Security & compliance

Certification badges are easy to display and hard to independently verify from a pricing page. What actually matters to a security review is more specific: where is the data processed, where is it stored, who can access it, and how long is it retained.

Region is a control, not a marketing claim

Xynora lets you choose the region your data is processed and stored in, down to the specific deployment. That's a concrete, verifiable control your security team can put in a data flow diagram — not a claim on a webpage.

Retention is a setting, not a default you have to trust

Retention windows for conversations, documents, and logs are configurable per workspace, including the option to disable retention entirely for the most sensitive workloads. We'd rather a security reviewer see the actual setting than take our word for a policy.

We're pursuing formal certifications as the company matures, and we'll be specific about status rather than implying more than we've completed. In the meantime, we'd rather earn a security sign-off with verifiable architecture than with a badge.
